Scholarship Program

The  Rotary  Club  of  Forked  River  has  been providing  graduating high school students from  our  service  area  with  scholarships for both two and four  year colleges.    Since the program began, The Rotary Club of Forked River has awarded over  $500,000 in scholarships grants.  

The scholarships are funded through the support of those who donate to Rotary.  The primary source of funding is through our annual Go For The Gold fund raising campaign.

Lacey Township residents who are in their senior year at Lacey Township High School, MATES or Monsignor Donovan are eligible to apply for a Rotary Club of Forked River College Scholarship.  Applications for the Scholarships can be downloaded, printed and returned to us for consideration at this years scholarship awards.  The scholarship money available to 2023 graduates will be a total of $20,000 and can be in each of the following categories:  

• 1 Award for $5,000:    Payable over number of years attending.
• 3 Awards for $2,500:  Payable over number of years attending.
• 5 Awards for $500:      Payable over number of years attending.   
• 2 Awards for $2500:   Payable over number of years attending.

The application is available from school Guidance Departments, or download the application from this page.  The Rotary Scholarship Application must be typed and must be signed. Exceptions will not be made. Failure to follow the directions could be cause for denial. 

The deadline to apply is April 4, 2024.  

Check with our guidance department.  They will attach a copy of your official transcript and forward the completed application package to our scholarship selection committee.

Scholarship recipients will be notified of their awards through their guidance departments.
